    the first thing is to figure out how much you want or need to harvest….figure out how much space that will take (through a little research), and then you can start to size-up the gear from there. Most people start with 1 or 2 600W or 1000W lamps in an area of about 4′ X 8′.

    The rule of thumb for installation of LED Grow lights is 10 Watts per Square foot.

    However to match production to what you are doing use 1/3 to 1/2 of the wattage you currently use to get comparable results.

    A simple rule, a 150 Watt Led Grow Light replaces about 450 Watts of HID.
