In this short segment, Big Mike talks about the woes of racial profiling and his troubles with the police in Spain. Not only does he get stopped twice without probable cause, he and his vehicle get searched!
Big Mike also reveals how he started with mixing chemicals while running his own lawn care business at age nineteen and how that helped prepare him for running his own business and how carried over into the creation of Advanced Nutrients.
We even get to hear about the mistakes he made back then and how he evaded U.S. Marshalls and escaped to Canada avoid prosecution where he met the other co-founders of Advanced Nutrients.

Big Mike explains just how much research and development went into making Advanced Nutrients the huge company that it is today and what inspired him to branch out from growing and start making his own nutrients.
He explains how he always felt like the nutrients he using for his plants just weren’t cutting it and, how they always seemed to be missing something. This, along with encouragement from his friends, inspired him to start making his own nutrients.

Big Mike gives us a close up look at a few types of Spanish cannabis that’s he’s already had, and then we watch him roll one that he’s never tried before.
He sings praises to the Spanish for the immense care they take when preparing their cannabis and shows great admiration for the length of time they take in drying their product. Apparently they actually pump humidity into the drying room to slow down the process.
He and Remo discuss the politics surrounding the hydroponics industry in Spain and talk about how the Spanish culture may effect the way we view and approach hydroponics here in the states.

While Big Mike is hanging out with his friends in Spain, they get booted from a limousine for smoking, of all things.
So they decide to hop out and finish up at a nearby marina. They shoot the breeze and wait for dinner to be served and big mike talks about his favorite “Spanish” car and we learn Remo’s new nickname as well.
We also get to see the making of a gorgeous “snake-in-the-grass” (aka tootsie roll) made from premium bud and hash that will make your mouth water.
